ShapeDiver is an online platform for hosting Grasshopper files, allowing others to access your design tools through a web browser. You'll need a Rhinoceros license to create your Grasshopper files on a desktop or laptop, then you can upload your file to our platform to securely share it with others.

Credits function like tokens or coins, helping us track your account's usage of our servers. Depending on your plan, each ShapeDiver account is granted a specific number of credits that automatically renew every month. Credits are used whenever you perform certain tasks, such as (but not limited to) starting sessions and initiating exports. Learn more here.

Startup and Business are designed for different stages of risk and responsibility.

- Startup is for companies under €1M annual revenue launching non-critical applications and validating use cases. Our team is involved exclusively through our Support Forum and one-per-month Onboarding Sessions.
- Business is for companies that are seriously evaluating, preparing, or running applications where ShapeDiver is expected to become a core part of the product. Our team is involved through private email support and unlimited Onboarding Sessions.

Startup is designed for early-stage teams validating ideas with public, forum-based support and limited onboarding.

Larger companies typically have higher expectations around privacy, response times, and escalation, even during early exploration. To ensure a consistent and reliable experience for everyone, companies above this threshold are guided toward Business, which is designed to meet those expectations.

This keeps support predictable and aligned with how different organizations operate.

Business is not only about white-glove support. It’s about readiness and accountability.

Even when an application starts as non-critical, larger organizations usually require private communication channels, faster response times, and clear ownership when issues arise.

Business ensures that ShapeDiver can support those expectations properly from the start. If ShapeDiver is being evaluated seriously and may become part of a production workflow, Business is the right fit.

Private support, onboarding, and escalation significantly increase the operational responsibility we take on.

When a small company runs a critical or high-risk application, their support needs are the same as those of a larger organization. Business exists precisely for these cases, regardless of company size, to provide privacy, responsiveness, and peace of mind when ShapeDiver becomes important to the business.

ShapeDiver offers different support levels depending on your plan, aligned with how critical the platform is to your business.

All users (including free users) have access to our documentation, video tutorials, FAQ, support forum, and community catch-ups. These are designed to help you understand the platform, explore what’s possible, and ask general questions.

Paid plans unlock structured, private support:

- Startup includes forum-based support and time-limited onboarding sessions (private video calls with our development team) focused on understanding the ShapeDiver platform, plugins, and APIs. These sessions are designed to help you launch successfully, not to troubleshoot Grasshopper definitions or review custom code.

- Business and Enterprise include private email support, priority response times, and unlimited onboarding sessions (fair use). These plans are designed for companies running ShapeDiver in production who require privacy, predictability, and closer collaboration with our team.

Support channels are part of each subscription. Requests submitted outside the channels included in your plan may be redirected to the appropriate support channel.
